Sometimes a little inspiration goes a long way. The City Crafter Challenge Blog is hosting a 1 2 3 challenge this week. That is, 1 ribbon, 2 or more words, and 3 butterflies. Here is my little creation:
The butterflies are tatted from size 80 DMC thread in ecru and yellow, fluttering over far and away brand scrapbooking cardstock, set into clear resin. The necklace is hung on a little bow just for cuteness.
I like the idea of seeing simplicity in life, learning, work, whatever. When I’m feeling overwhelmed, it helps me to look for the thread that connects the many disparate parts. From there I don’t feel so much like there many things going on, rather many parts of a related theme, and find I can deal with each of them more gracefully. How do you deal with feeling overwhelmed?

I agree with Fox, nothing like a bit of new thread to smooth out the rough spots, then tat it up in knots to tie it all together for strength.
Fox and Jeanne, I use tatting as therapy too! Much cheaper and more fun.

Thankyouthankyouthankyou! NO ONE explains how to transfer the knot from the left hand thread to the right hand thread but you! Most videos just assume you’re doing that. This video has made all the difference for me. Again, thank you.
You are so very welcome. I am so glad this helps.
