Are you ready for some more tatting giveaway fun?! I am! And I love this month’s sponsor and prize. I’ve shopped at Be-Stitched Store for years, and am thrilled that Nancy was gracious enough to donate a signed copy of her pattern book for a lucky reader.
Nancy Tracy’s book, Tat’s Where I Stopped, A Year of Tatted Bookmarks, is a fun exploration of tatting throughout the year. There are 12 patterns, one for each month, with a seasonal theme. My personal favorite is the pencil for September, as I always loved the thrill of gathering supplies to go back to school.
The patterns are presented with written instruction AND diagrams, so whichever way appeals to you, you can follow along. I like that the patterns are presented clearly and are easy to read. I also appreciated that they are fun designs that beginners can do—no fancy techniques required.
Here are some of the designs. They run the gamut, from mittens to an Easter egg to a baseball and bat. Isn’t that rainbow and pot of gold so cute?!
Nancy was kind enough to send me a copy as well so I can try these out. I’m working on the pumpkins right now—it is October after all. I’ve been swamped lately but hopefully I’ll have something to show you in a few days.
There is also a sunflower, snowflakes, hearts, even a sun bonnet. So many creative bookmarks.
Buy it! Visit Be-Stitched Store and pick up a copy for only $17.95. Don’t forget to check out Nancy’s huge selection of pattern books, shuttles, needles, thread, and other tatting accessories.
Win it! For your own chance to win this fun and whimsical bookmark pattern book, leave a comment below to enter. The contest is open worldwide.

I would like the complete book of tatting, I’ve been wanting that book for a while. I would also like the book of snowflakes and some satin balls to attach them to. I would love to get this bookmark pattern book! So cute!
I would buy the Victorian Christmas Tatting book by Dianna Stevens. From the lessons and videos posted here, I know I now can confidently make all these lovely Christmas designs. I had the pleasure of meeting Dianna in person about 3 years ago in her home and she had this tree set up on display. Since I was only beginning to learn at that time, I was in awe. She makes beautiful things.
What a great book! I already subscribe to her newsletter. I always look forward to getting it and a new pattern from her. The one thing I would love to have from her store is more Lizbeth thread! I love that thread. I don’t have all the colors and would so love to!
Blessings,
Diane
Cool giveaway indeed!
And, it got me to visit the revamped store site – I am already subscribed to the newsletter so I knew there had been changes, but I had not looked around yet.
I would say I want to take home *everything*, but I guess that is not fair! So, I’ll mention two items I have eyed since I started tatting and found her site:
* the satin covered balls – I love the look of tatting pinned to them, and I can’t get them where I live
* the double bobbin shuttle – even if metal shuttles are not my favourite at all, I would really love to try a double bobbin one!
Do you have a “button” or image I could use on my blog to link back to the giveaway? or a small log of your site?
Monica, I don’t have a button made, but that’s a good idea. I’ll try to come up with something and send it to you by tomorrow.
I like your wish list. I’ve also wondered about the double bobbin shuttles, and haven’t tried them yet.
Great! I decided I prefer to add links to giveaways in my sidebar instead of making posts for them, and a picture works great there. It could either be a logo to your whole site, or special for the giveaway, I’d use either.
(And the editor/perfectionist in me wanted to point out I meant “logo” not “log” in my first comment)
Monica,
Sorry it took me a few days, but I have a button for you (and anyone who wants one!). You can grab the code in my sidebar, and I’ll post it here for convenience:
Great! Add another entry for me, then, as I put your button on my sidebar!
I’m adding a separate comment to ask if I can have an extra entry for already being subscribed to the newsletter. I must say, I love Nancy’s patterns and I look forwards to it every month!
Sure, why not.
I tweeted about your giveaway! I have emailed you a screen gram of my tweet. You can also verify by finding me on Twitter.
Thanks for hosting this fun giveaway!
I’ve wanted to try putting tatting on satin balls for a while. Now I know where to find some 🙂
I subscribe to her newsletter and love getting it every month!!
Well, I emailed you earlier that I bought the thread, not the book, so I’ll take the chance that I might still win the book here! I needed the thread more than the book, but it does have a lot of great patterns in it. Nice of Nancy to donate it for this give-away..
Fox : ))

I love her store and the newsletter. I would love to add to my (new) bobbin collection or get any of those pattern books.
Thank you for the chance at this giveaway!
Great book to Win! I went through her store again and would get Tatting Jewelry by Lyn Morton and Tatted Artistry of Teiko Fujito with Lizbeth thread. (Like I don’t have enough!) I’d also get two more Sew Mate Shuttles as there’s no such thing as too many shuttles either.
Do I get another entry for already being subscribed to Sharon’s newsletter? I like that she has good patterns in them and recipies.
Sure
I desperately want one of the Abalone tatting shuttles to add to my mini collection of shuttles. And for quite some time I’ve wanted the “Tat’s Where I Stopped” pattern book. The thought of a signed copy makes me giddy. Thank you to Nancy and you for the chance.
I already subscribe to Nancy’s newsletter, but I haven’t gotten one in awhile, so I resubscribed. Thank you for the reminder.

I’d like to win Tat’s Where I Stopped, A Year of Tatted Bookmarks. The size of the bookmarks looks easier to do than some patterns I’ve seen.
I’m a beginner, have just got as far as buying a shuttle and some thread, and would love to get the book and use it to learn from,
Thanks for putting on giveaways,
Pat, UK
I just signed up for the newsletter. I am so glad I found her website. I have been looking for one for awhile. All I know how to do is needle tattting and would love to learn using a shuttle.
You can do these patterns with a needle too!
I would get the learn to tat kit!
i signed up for the newsletter too! thank you.
I’d like to take home the Complete Book of Tatting because there is an abundance of patterns all in one book. Thanks.
I would take home some of the threads and tools, including needles, it would also be a good idea to get a getting started needle tatting book. It’s been a few years since I’ve tatted and will have to study up on it a little before I actually comment myself to a project.
I’m just a beginner in tatting and would love to learn more about it hopefully from this book. At the website I liked everything, especially threads and tools sections. Thank you for this giveaway!

Tat looks a great book, I use to do a lot of Tatting but I had forgotten about it. I will have to get back into it. If I was to win this prize it would get me right back into it, and what a great Birthday present it would make!! (it’s on Friday!!!)
Happy birthday, Claire!
I’m a subscriber to the Be-Stitched newsletter! It’s a good one too, I enjoy it when she links to photos that her husband has taken.
What product(s) would I like from the Be-Stitched store? You mean besides everything? 😉
I think The Tatter’s Workbook looks really neat. From what I’ve read in reviews, the presentation is unique and it seems like it would be very enjoyable to just sit and browse through it.
Thank you for having the giveaway, Heather. I come from a family of readers and librarians, so bookmarks are always popular!
I posted a message on the Needle tatting board http://needletatting.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=645&page=1
Years ago when I was 10 years old, a very elderly lady taught me how to tat. I foolishly did not keep up with what I knew. I would like the book Learning to Tat. Thanks for the chance to win.

The Celtic tatting Shuttle caught my eye. I love to work with pretty tools!

there are about 4 tatting shuttles there that I would love to add to my collection. Of course the Lizbeth thread is hard to find around here so I wouldn’t mind getting some of that either. Thanks for directing us to this very interesting place to pick up what we want for our tatting. I would love to have the bookmark tatting book, too.
This would be a great Christmas present for my sister she loves tatting.
I have been doing a lot of reading on this type of crafting so I would be super interested in beginners kits.
I would LOVE more books on tatting, especially the zoo animals and smaller project type ones. 🙂
I’ve announced at intatters too!

Great giveaway. I tweeted and facebooked about the giveaway, too. I truly love DMC Cebelia thread for needle tatting. I like the Snow White for Christmas decorations. I found out about this giveaway on In Tatters.
I love the great variety of thread colors available. My local Joanne store has a limited supply so I’m happy to have a source of variety. it’s like a candy store for tatters.
My granddaughter has been collecting the bookmarks I make and she would love the bookmarks in the book.
I just shared at the tatting forums too!

I love their site and would like to have the book A Tatters Workbook., I am a beginning tatter and I love the books on christmas patterns as well, but winning the bookmark book giveaway would definitely make my day., thanks for the chance.
I have wanted that book since before I knew how to tat – love the holiday patterns! I want A Victorian Tatted Christmas and Another Victorian Tatted Christmas. There are so many things I love in that store – especially the books. Every time I order from Be-Stitched I end up spending a lot more money than I intend to spend.
