Fairy WandHalloween is coming up and magic is in the air. Do you have a fairy princess, Merlin, Harry Potter or other pint-sized purveyor of prestidigitation? Here is the perfect accessory to their costume.

FreePreeschoolCrafts.com has a nice tutorial on how to make this great wand. Depending on what colors, ribbons, glitter and other decorations you choose, you could easily make this for a fairy princess, wizard, witch, or any magic wielder.

Would you make your wand in pinks, pastels or darker colors? What tatting pattern would you use? How else would you decorate it? What other ideas does this lead you to?

If this inspires you to create something, I’d love to see it! Upload a picture of your creation to your blog or an online gallery so we can all see what you made, then leave a comment here with the direct link (not your entire blog).
