Halloween is coming up and magic is in the air. Do you have a fairy princess, Merlin, Harry Potter or other pint-sized purveyor of prestidigitation? Here is the perfect accessory to their costume.
FreePreeschoolCrafts.com has a nice tutorial on how to make this great wand. Depending on what colors, ribbons, glitter and other decorations you choose, you could easily make this for a fairy princess, wizard, witch, or any magic wielder.
Want to add some tatted flair? Pick your favorite star pattern, make two, and glue or sew them over both sides of the star. Snowflake patterns are a great resource for stars. Here is one tatted winter star that would work great for a magic wand, by Trish Faubion.
