Um, yeah, so I just realized there is only a single week until Christmas. Eek! I don’t have anything ready. I feel like I’ve spent most of this month just trying to keep afloat, but fortunately my over-crowded schedule will settle down come the new year. In the mean time, here’s the top news headlines:
I’ve got some exciting news coming soon. I don’t want to say too much now, in case it doesn’t work out, but I’ve made contact with an amazing organization that I’m excited to be working with. More to come when it is all finalized.
ABSOLUTE BEGINNER TUTORIALS
Sorry I haven’t posted the next tutorial for a while, but work has been keeping me super busy. Fortunately I get some time off for the holidays soon and plan to block that doily I promised by New Year’s. And post about it, yes that too.
WHILE WE’RE ON THE SUBJECT…
of being way too busy, I haven’t gotten around to tatting the ornaments and gifts I had wanted to for Christmas. This year has been a lot more hectic than normal, and frankly my head is still stuck in early October, holiday-wise.
That got me to thinking, how far in advance of any holiday or event do you usually give yourself to start tatting? I usually like two to three months. Now I’m really curious what everyone else does. Leave a comment, or head over to a poll I started on the InTatters Forum.
While you’re there, you can sign up for InTatters. It is a great community of helpful tatters from around the world.
