Are you ready for a giveaway? I am. And this month I’ve got not one, not not two, but a set of five prizes for one lucky winner, and a bonus for everyone!
Mielke’s Fiber Arts is sponsoring this great prize set:
When you win, you will get a 2.5″ silver plated brass embossed Lacis tatting shuttle, a purple and white variegate (color 1281) ball of Anchor thread, a Lacis picot and tatting needle gauge, and a beautiful and super sharp pair of stork scissors.
I can’t find the thread size on the label but it looks to me like size 50. here’s a closeup of the shuttle, which has a nice blank spot on both sides on which to engrave your initials.

SO hard to pick just one thing, but I think I’d have to go with the bone lucet. Or possibly some naalbinding needles. Must stop shopping now…the temptation is really strong on this site!
I would love to take home one of their Victorian engraved shuttles. I just love those designs and think they look beautiful. Of course, the celtic knot book would also be awesome since I love celtic designs.

I was given a quick tatting lesson once and have always wanted get my own supplies to try it out some more. All I can find around here is the plastic shuttles, though…and I even bought some…but I just can’t get excited about the tools which means they’ve just sat there. It was the same for me with knitting – I love my wood needles, they’re so pretty and I always look forward to using them!!! Now, if I had one of those wood shuttles or maybe the Victorian I’d be a tatting pro by now!!!
The bamboo crochet hooks would be nice!

If I could get anything I wanted, I’d love the Ashford Traditional Spinning Wheel. But as that’s wishful thinking right now, it’s more likely I’d buy the Bartlettyarns. Thanks for the chance to win!
One of everything? I’d love to get Nancy’s Knit Knacks Circular Needle ID Tags. I hate that most metal circular needles have no identifying marks so you have to carry a separate tool to measure them.

I rather like the bobbin lace making supplies that they have, My own bobbins are simply skewers cut, and then weighed down with pony beads. I’ve been thinking about getting a proper set of bobbins.
I enjoy creating things with my hands and this is a lovely little online shop to get supplies. Thank you very much. *G*
